Brothers + Sisters= Fighting..its in the rule book

Aah sibling love at its finest.  The title above was my brother's excuse as a child for why we would never get along.  I remember when we were kids, my older brother Chance and I fought like cats and dogs.  I wanted to ride in the front seat and he wanted the big piece of chicken.  I wanted to play Power Rangers and he wanted to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  We all obviously know that the Pink Power Ranger could kick the turtle Michelangelo's butt any day of the week!  He would never admit that of course and that was all the fuel we needed to start another epic argument.

I don't want you to misunderstand.  Sure we've had our little tiffs here and there, but nothing ever heavy enough to permanantly seperate us for good.  "Revenge is a dish best served cold."  I think we both took that quote to heart during our many years under one roof.  Pranks were usually the main course accompanied with a side dish of irritation and hilarity to drink.  I might have told on Chance for breaking the rules, getting into my things or scaring me half to death. And he might have gotten me back by puttting spit balls in my ketchup or hooking a giant pair of underwear to my jacket in Walmart.  I have yet to get him back for that one!

There still might be a bit of a rivalry, but we get along great now that we don't live together and have grown up a little. Granted I yell at him for driving to fast and he yells at me for touching his car stereo, but I couldn't ask for a better older brother. (Side note: My other older brother Tyson is not mentioned in this post for three reasons, we didn't grow up together, he isn't annoying, and he is my partner in crime in coming up with prank ideas against Chance.)  I love both of my older brothers, but in the early words of my older yet younger brother, "We can't get along to well or the Ninja Turtles will be forced to fight the Power Rangers resulting in the end of the world as we know it!"

Vampires and Wolves and Geekiness, Oh My!

I am currently on a complete Twilight kick right now. Yes, I 'm speaking to all those fanatics out there and to those who aren't (feel free to gag at this moment; this is the only chance you are getting)! Don't get me wrong. You wouldn't of found me camping outside of a theater with fur glued to my butt declaring my love for Jacob with the rest of the crazies at the midnight premiere of Eclipse. Although, I have always enjoyed the books and the films tend to really match the overall feel and pictures I come up with in my own mind for the stories.

It is great to be able to form images in my mind that coincide with various characters and settings in a book, because it makes the printed word that much more entertaining. I can remember reading Twilight for the first time and being totally engrossed with it. I'll admit to my geeky tendencies here and there, especially when mentioning the many fights I have gotten into with friends over the honor and redeeming qualities of each main character of the vampiric series.

I recall one particular discussion clear as a bell. I don't know about you, but when I read certain words that either have strange spellings or look unpronounceable, I tend to either make up other words to replace them or just give it my best shot in the dark in regard to what the author is trying to express. This is the excuse I'm giving for my slight mistake but I digress. I was talking to my fellow Twi Twi fan in passing and remember calling the blonde father of the Cullen family Carousel instead of his actual name being Carlisle. I giggle to myself now when thinking of how she doubled over laughing at me while I sat clueless. I honestly had no clue, but I believe it was the s in the name that threw me off. I just thought the name of Carousel was very French sounding if you said it slowly. I think her exact quote was, "That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Don't worry we were both laughing like maniacs at my dingy mistake. I cant be the only one who has misprounounced a name like that right? Feel free to leave me a line or story of your own. It will sure make me feel better! lol

BTW: Check out this sweet song off of the New Moon Soundtrack! (I'm in love with it now)

INTRO: What's with the Napoleon Dynamite type of background?

Hello hello and welcome to my blog. Yes my background looks right out of a certain snow boot wearing, llama feeding, no Tater Tot giving movie set. Although I believe it is a perfect setting for what is to be discussed. The Comicality of We is about the humorous happenings in our lives. I say our and not just my because we all have them. This is not a place for me to shout, "Everyone listen up, I want it to be known I am ridiculously hilarious!" Truth be told, I have done and said things that have made others go into convulsions (don't worry..its out of laughter..no need to call the PoPo on me) but these times were incidental and totally not on purpose. Well ok..sometimes totally on purpose, but bare with me here.

I'm currently a junior in college and I have enough stories to fill a book, or a pamphlet, or at least enough to pleasantly read in the bathroom. Feel free to comment with me, lol with me and add stories about your own life. Please no debbby downers or I will call Dr. Phil with his annoying mustache to give you a good talking to.
